AGUACHILE VERDE



Hola! Today I share for all of you this easy, fast and tasty salsa, we call it aguachile that literally means water and chili, and it so easy as its name sounds. I live in a city near to the pacific of Mexico, in a state called Nayarit, a lovely paradise with beaches, lakes, rivers and high mountains, but also a lot of green valleys, as green as this recipe, and we used to do this sauce to eat with seafood, in meals called ceviches, which are made of raw shrimp, raw fish, octopus, and we add this sauce to make the ceviche. But we also eat it with other meals like tacos, empanadas (like tacos but fried in oil, see the image above) and it is so easy that I can't wait to teach you how to do your own aguachile sauce.  



GREEN AGUACHILE
INGREDIENTS:
Green chili (chile verde)
Cucumber
Lemon juice
Coriander
Salt (to taste) 

First we need to chose the best ingredients and clean them up, disinfect them so well, get sure to do right this step because we're gonna eat all this all raw, there is not a stove needed in this recipe. Just take your blender and go on.



Just put all ingredients in your blender, there are no rules or order, put all together. 


As you can see, I put coriander first, then I put just three chilis in, I chopped them to an easier blending, and you can add all the chilis you want, let the seeds, they are the hot soul of the sauce.


I chopped cucumbers too, and let the skin, or you can take off if you want, but it adds colour and flavor, it's your choice.


Add lemon juice and salt to taste, and blend until this sauce is ready and all ingredients get mixed.



And here is it, our own Aguachile verde, it is spicy, citric and tasty, try this on your next seafood dish, of whatever you want, if are a lover of lemon juice, you're gonna love this. So I think that was all for today, see you next in the next easy recipe. Adios!
