BASIC RED SAUCE



Hola! This is another easy sauce recipe, a basic red mexican sauce, and this kind is so versatile, it can be eaten with almost every mexican dish, but also you can eat it with the meals you used to make in your own country. Mexicans used to eat this type of sauce at breakfast, with eggs and ham, or at luch and dinner with tacos and a lot of dishes, as I said, it's so versatile, almost a magic sauce, it can be used as a base for a broth, or for make a stew with meat, fish or if you are vegan, you can do vegetables cooked with this sauce and the result is amazing.
My sister always do this sauce to eat quesadillas, I don't eat cheese but this is also a great use for this recipe, sometimes my mother do gorditas, a corn dish that looks like tortillas, but smaller, I'm gonna share some gorditas we did today for this red sauce, so keep reading, and I don't say more, just get in love with these easy sauces.

BASIC RED MEXICAN SAUCE
INGREDIENTS:
Red tomatoes
White onion
Green chilis
Garlic (to taste)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Powdered chicken bouillon (opcional) 


The first step to do your own red sauce is to chose the best vegetables of course, wash them and then boil them until they get a softer texture (But I know you really know that, right?). 


At this point we chose how many chilis we want in our sauce, I put two but you can put three, four, five, ten, or all your tongue can hold without burning and scream itself. Just kidding, but be brave and add chili, it is the soul of this salsa.


When everything is perfectly cook, put the vegetables in the blender, add salt and pepper to taste, and powdered chicken bouillon (to taste of course, and this ingredient is optional, but i advice you to use it, it gives the sauce a very taste flavor) and blend everything for a minute or a little more, we want a creamy consistency.
